Scooby Watersports has been established for over 5 years and originally only sold products from the shop at Scooby Hoose, Clachan Cottage Hotel, Lochearnhead.

The main Customer base was watersports enthusiasts who enjoyed the facilities of Loch Earn, which has been a water skiing centre in Scotland for the last 50 years.

Around 3 years ago the previous owners decided to try the internet market, which proved highly successful and Scooby has earned a reputation for being one of the cheapest suppliers in the UK of high quality watersports equipment such as O’Brien, Neil Pryde, Cling On, Free Motion and Double Up.

Ebay has been important to the development of Scooby Watersports, enabling the business to sell thousands of items a year, online. The internet store included within this website does not mean we will be leaving ebay completely, just expanding the range and making the customer experience easier than ever before. Ebay will still play host to our clearance bargains, with the main stock being showcased in our very own internet store.

Whilst trading on ebay for the past 3 years, customer feedback has never dropped below 100% positive. We intend to uphold this reputation and can assure potential customers that we will continue to make every effort to ensure their online shopping is as easy as possible and solve any problems or issues which might occur.

Originally, as the name suggests, Scooby sold only watersports equipment, however in 2004 diversification led the Company to include snowboarding items and again, only high quality branded equipment, such as Drake, Flow, Palmer and Bakoda. The snowboard market proved massive and our stock is ever increasing. During 2007 we will expand our range of both watersports and snowboarding equipment, whilst keeping to our theme of 100% customer satisfaction and value for money.

The business has recently (April 2007) changed hands and is now owned by Richard Steventon and Chaldon Olivier.

Chaldon is in the shop most days and is always available to discuss the products or answer any questions you may have, whether they are by phone, fax, internet or personal visit.
